Up for sale is a Sony HDR-FX1 camcorder bundle. The Standard definition DV recording, playback and HDV playback are working. HDV recording is NOT working correctly. The unit does not play back HDV recording made with the camcorder. This camcorder can essentially work like a VX1000, or can be used as a backup for HDV video transfer. There are also some cracks around the unit. The lens hood mount on the front of the camcorder has also been damaged. The camcorder has 12x optical zoom, flip-out monitor, color viewfinder, manual focus and zoom rings and microphone and headphone jacks. What's included in the bundle. Sony HDR-FX1 HDV 1080i Mini DV camcorder. Sony AC-L15A charger with wall power cable. Aftermarket Kastar NP-F960/970 8700 mAh.
Generic lens cap -Shoe mount adapter -NEW Sony Mini DV 60 minute tape for recording -Sony neck strap. Items in the bundle all have a some fair tear and tear from previous use and storage. Look closely at pictures for conditions. Aside the defects mentioned, the camcorder is working and has wear from previous use and storage. The hand strap on the camcorder is in good shape.
O visible scratches on the front element of the camcorder. The lens cap snaps to the camera properly. All buttons and rockers are operational on the camcorder. The camera has been used to record to and play back DV video on a tape, and has been used to playback a few pre-recorded DV and HDV tapes. The screen and viewfinder display fine.
The screen has light wear on it. The microphone and speaker on the camera work. The battery has been charged with the charger.
The battery holds a good charge and has a high capacity. The microphone and headphone jacks work. This bundle is ready for Standard definition DV recording. The unit can only play back previously record HDV tapes. The unit does not record HDV properly.
